The Zaffrani stalk chopper for sunflower headers is designed to maximise field processing. It chops the stalk to completely destroy it and to leave the field absolutely clean. It is composed of rotating reversible blades reinforced with tungsten, to guarantee maximum and continuous cutting efficiency. It can be replaced in complete autonomy thanks to easy disassembly. It is installed on the combine together with an exclusive system of hydraulic compensation, which allows to adjust the height of the chopper with respect to the position of the sunflower header.
The pressing need to leave post-harvest conditions that facilitate processes, such as sod seeding or the traditional pre-sowing tillage, has led Zaffrani to develop and manufacture the straw chopper.
