DIRECT FIRE
The main asset of direct fire dryers is the thermal
performance of the heat generator that, comprising an
open combustion chamber, minimizes thermal dispersion
and thereby optimizes the time, consumption and costs of
the drying cycle. The type of product to be dried
determines the choice of fuel.
Gas oil and GPL, which result in a high concentration of
combustion residue, are only recommended for drying
animal feed products. Methane, instead, is recommended
for drying food products intended for
human consumption.

INDIRECT FIRE
The methods for drying cereals and legumes intended for
human and animal consumption are especially important for
preserving the natural properties of said products.
Indirect fire dryers ensure all the organoleptic and
biological properties of products to be dried
remain unaltered, thanks to the homogenous combination
of hot air with cold air, and absence of unburned gas on
the product being dried. Operation is based on a
principle, according to which the flow of cold air,
compressed by the heat exchanger's fan, invest all of
its radiant mass and, after absorbing the heat,
flows in the diffuser and diffuses through the product.
The exchanger's double external protection walls were
devised and created to ensure maximum insulation and
therefore prevent any heat dispersion.
